Wei Acupuncture of Newark

Lisa Hicks first ventured into Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) after repetitive work related injuries required her to leave her career of ten years.  She sought acupuncture treatments for her back, shoulder, and hands in July of 2004, and was relieved of the chronic pain shortly thereafter.  In June of 2005, with a previous Associates Degree, she began her three year quest to become an acupuncturist.

Lisa graduated, with top honors, from the American Institute of Alternative Medicine's three-year Master's Level Acupuncture Program.  She is nationally certified by the National Certification Commission of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) and is licensed by the State Medical Board of Ohio to practice acupuncture.  Lisa is a member of the American Association of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (AAAOM) and the Ohio Association of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (OAAOM)

Lisa is a native of Newark, Ohio, and has been practicing Traditional Chinese Medicine since April of 2008.
